Our second meetup! Join us to discuss workflows for AI-assisted coding and learn how people across the university are integrating AI tools into their development processes.

Overview

Following a well attended first meetup in April, our second meetup will focus on workflows for AI-assisted coding.

Who should attend?

Anyone is welcome to join, but the meetups are targeted towards staff at the university who develop software as part of their role.

  • 11:00AI-Assisted Coding Workflows Across the University: staff from across the University will share how they are using AI tools in their development workflows, including the benefits and challenges they have experienced.

  • 11:30Skill of the Month: Sandboxing: giving AI tools access to your local files and processes can introduce security risks. We will briefly demonstrate how to use sandboxing in Codex and Docker Sandboxes (early access) to help mitigate those risks.

  • 11:40What’s Coming Next in ELM: Andrew Hayward, Technical Product Owner for ELM, will share an overview of new features coming to ELM, the University’s AI innovation platform.
